Peter is a Civil Mediator of considerable experience, having served on the board of the Civil Mediation Council, founded both Pro-mediate and the Manchester Civil Justice Pilot, and served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Jackson ADR Handbook.

Peters experience stretches across many areas of Civil & Commercial Mediation from high profile commercial insurance mediation to ‘routine’ small claims disputes.

Peter was awarded the title of Mediation Achiever of the Year in the Personal Injury Awards in 2017

He was the first practitioner to be granted a waiver to hold both a Barristers and Solicitors practising certificate at the same time.
